St. Anthony Student Receives American Legion Award

Pacey Douthit was awarded the 2024 St. Anthony Grade School American Legion School Award Medal of Honor. The medal is the highest award presented yearly to a Junior High student.

The award recognizes that Pacey possesses the high qualities of Courage, Honor, Leadership, Patriotism, Scholarship, and Service. These qualities are necessary to the preservation and protection of the fundamental institutions of our government and the advancement of society.

Pacey was nominated by St. Anthony teachers and then elected by her classmates among the nominees as the winner. The award was presented by the American Legion Post 120 Commander.

Pacey is a Freshman at St. Anthony High School where she participates in Volleyball, Student Council, and Choir.
