D.A.R. Flag Presentations in Effingham
On Wednesday, April 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Effingham City Hall, the D.A.R. will have an America 250! Flag Presentation to the city. They will be giving four flags to the Mayor; County Board Head, E.P.D. Chief, and E.F.D. Chief, to fly at City Hall, the County Building, the E.P.D., and E.F.D. Station 1.

United Way of Effingham County has released the application to receive funding from the 2026 Campaign. Agencies requesting funds must be non-profit organizations with a 501(c)(3) certificate and provide health and human services within Effingham County.
