Millie Lange

I was born and raised in Effingham and graduated from Effingham High School. I started working at the Effingham Daily News in 1970 in high school where I worked 10 years in the composing room then became a sports reporter in 1981. I was the Daily News sports editor for three years before quitting in 2010.

I started working at Premier Broadcasting fulltime, July 6, 2010. I figured somebody needed to try and straighten the Morning Show guys out!  

I have a brother, Jim who owned Lange Electric here in Effingham. My oldest brother Tom recently died. I'm not married but have a child (actually a dog, Wrigley, named after my Chicago Cubs home field). I love trivia contests and am a member of a team that travels around getting beat all over the area. Okay, maybe we win once in a while. I also love gardening, sports, scrapbooking, traveling, antiquing, ghosthunting and all things Star Wars including The Mandalorian and Boba Fett.

I'm a member of First Baptist Church.
