Hi, I'm Doc Kralman. I'm married to Robin Endebrock and we have four children, Shad, Shane, Kaci and Kelli. Plus, we have five grandchildren. I grew up and attended schools in Teutopolis.
I joined the Navy at the age of 17 in 1966. One thing I learned...don't tell your Mom you joined the Navy at the dinner table. Dad didn't tell her. I don't know who was in more trouble, me or Dad. I got out in 1969 and started college at Lake Land College in the fall of 1969. I was one of the original three students that started the radio program at Lake Land College and the only one that made a career out ot it. I started my first job in radio in April of 1971. That's why I'm the old guy here at the station. I like to think of it as wiser instead of old. I now have over 40 years in Radio and Cable TV.
I am currently a Certified Radio and Digital Marketing Consultant for the stations, and the one that keeps the younger kids on a straight line during the Morning Show. I am currently a member of the Effingham Sunrise Rotary Club and a member of the Lake Land College Radio and TV Advisory Council. I am past Chairman of the Effingham County American Red Cross. Past President of the Effingham Sunrise Rotary Club and past member of the Helen Matthes Library Board among others. I have also helped out with many Veterans events and activities in the area.
I hope to continue working in radio for a while longer....Maybe I can still teach Greg and George a few things, like respect for their elders.
