Plan Commission Items on Quik Trip Called Off for Tonight

The Effingham City Plan Commission will NOT be considering items related to a proposed QuikTrip facility tonight.

Effingham City Planner Greg Koester said City officials were notified just before 2pm today by QuikTrip representatives that key personnel will not be able to attend the meeting tonight and have requested the QuikTrip site plan and rezoning public hearing be tabled until the December Plan Commission meeting.

Tonight's meeting has been relocated to the Effingham Performance Center to accommodate those who wished to speak on the QuikTrip items. Instead, the only item remaining on the agenda will be changes to the City Zoning Ordinance on fence regulations.

The meeting will still be held at the EPC.
