Semi Fire Causes Lane Blockage Sunday Evening

Things are back to normal on the interstate through Effingham after a semi on fire blocked two lanes of Southbound I-57/Westbound I-70 on the city's north side Sunday evening.

The fire was reported about 6pm. The fire was out, fire crews had cleared the scene and the lanes were back open before 8pm. No injuries were reported.
