Join us for the 21st Annual Effingham Plunge!

By Being Cool and taking the Plunge, you are supporting Special Olympic Illinois athletes across the state, helping to provide them with life-changing programing.  This includes year-round training and competition, as well as leadership, personal development, and health education opportunities. 

10:00 AM to 11:45 AM - Plunger check-in & walk-up registration at the Lake Sara Pearson Building, 15250 North Beach Road, Effingham.

12:00 PM - Polar Plunge kick-off, including costume judging, with emcees Kurtis Allen & Konner Remlinger.

1:00 PM - Post-Plunge party with free meal for plungers at the American Legion, 200 W. Washington, Effingham. 

Polar Plungers will receive a free meal provided by the Rhodes Show Catering and refreshments provided by Heartland Coca-Cola.  Family members and fans are also welcome and can purchase a meal for $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12.
