Montgomery Gentry Added to State Fair Lineup

Montgomery Gentry has been added to the 2019 Illinois State Fair lineup.

The country band will perform in front of the fair grandstand following the Twilight Parade on August 8.

The band released a seven-song EP, "Outskirts", on June 14. This is the final project Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry worked on before Gentry's death in September 2017. The remaining band members are trading off performing Gentry's vocals. Montgomery said you couldn't replace Troy Gentry, "no matter who you put in there."
