Two Area Residents Given Prison Time in Fayette Circuit Court

Two area residents were sentenced to prison time this week in Fayette County Circuit Court.

22-year-old Derek L. Ray of Shelbyville pleaded guilty to unlawful failure to register as a sex offender. Judge Kevin Parker sentenced Ray to 30 months in prison.

26-year-old Trevor Yokely of Vandalia pled guilty to violating his probation on the original charge of mob action. Judge Parker sentenced Yokely to 18 months in prison.
