Teutopolis village board members Wednesday acted to replat a lot of Brummer Subdivision into three lots.

The original lot is the site of Farmweld on the east edge of the village. The three lots are for the future development planned at the site including an office building for Farmweld and the hoped-for location of a plant for Canarm, the entity that has been operating out of the Farmweld building.

The Board also dedicated a portion of Vine Street. The Board had earlier vacated Heron Street in that area, but that necessitated a new dedication of the portion of Vine Street running from Oak to John Streets.

Board members awarded street and storm sewer work in Phase 2 of Prairie View Subdivision, the new residential subdivision in the southeast part of the village, to Effingham Asphalt for $346,460.50. Water and sanitary sewer work in the same area was awarded to Followell Construction for $172,777.

The Board voted to continue supporting the Effingham County CEO program and pledged $1,000 a year for the next three years. They also relinquished any claim on two more lots in Prairie View Subdivision, as the lots are being developed.

Action was tabled on a plat of Funneman Subdivision until a future meeting.
