Work on Phase 1 of the Jefferson Avenue Project will begin on Monday, July 8. Phase 1 incudes the closure of the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Banker Street and a block in each direction from the intersection until further notice. Detour Routes will be posted.

Sidewalks will remain open with temporary ADA Ramps and crosswalks with the exception of the corners by Village Wine and Effing Brew during the sidewalk reconstruction in these areas. There will be temporary fencing installed along the sidewalks for the safety of pedestrians. Pedestrian access to all downtown businesses will be maintained at all times but it may not be the most direct route due to areas of sidewalk removal and replacement.

Motorists and pedestrians are encouraged to continue visiting downtown during construction but please allow a little extra travel time and be prepared to park a little further away from your destination. Please obey all construction and detour signage for your safety.
