Regional Superintendent of Education Julie Wollerman Friday was sworn in for her second full term of office.

Wollerman serves as regional superintendent for Bond, Christian, Effingham, Fayette and Montgomery counties. Judge Marc Kelly swore Wollerman in during a ceremony at Fayette County Courthouse in Vandalia.

Wollerman was appointed as Regional Superintendent in July 2011. Since then, she has been elected three times and seen her region grow from three counties to five.
