Effingham and Teutopolis split junior high school volleyball victories Monday evening.
In seventh-grade action, Effingham captured a 25-8, 25-12 victory. T-town then tallied a win in eighth-grade play 25-14, 25-22.
At Teutopolis
Seventh-Grade Match
Effingham -- Douthit, 8 points; Fox, 2 points; Koolman, 1 point; Schaffer, 3 points; Fearday, 7 points; Russel, 3 points; Funneman, 4 points; Buscher, 3 points; Munoz, 3 points
Eighth-Grade Match
Effingham -- Armstrong, 7 points; Hanks, 5 points; Lybarger, 1 point; Langhorst, 3 points; Taylor, 2 points; Martin, 1 point; Myers, 1 point
At Strasburg
Stewardson-Strasburg defeated Sigel St. Michael in both seventh and eighth-grade play.
In the seventh-grade contest, Stew-Stras won 25-15, 16-25, 25-14. In eighth-grade action, Stew-Stras was a winner 26-24, 25-22.
