ALTAMONT -- Altamont played host to Dieterich and handed the Maroons a loss in two volleyball games, 25-12, 25-16. The victory gives the Indians the co-championship of the National Trail Conference regular season with Stewardson-Strasburg and Effingham St. Anthony.
White, Kopplin and Alwardt had three kills each for the winners. White and L. Ohnesorge led in aces with four each. Ledbetter and Wendling had four digs each. Mindy Bohnhoff led in points with four for Dieterich and had five digs. Mickayla Winters led in aces with three. Madison Boerngen had two kills.
The Indians finish the NTC season with an 8-1 record and stand at 25-7 overall. They will return to action in the St. Elmo/Brownstown Regional Tuesday.
In junior varsity action, Altamont won 25-21, 22-25, 25-20.

Neoga picked up a National Trail Conference victory over South Central 25-17, 25-21. Courtney Croy and Taylor Gresens led in kills with seven each.
Olivia Ott had 12 digs while Demmis Long led in assists with 13. Taylor Gresens led in aces with two. Neoga ends the NTC season at 6-3 and stands at 21-13 overall.
In junior varsity action, South Central won 25-16, 25-14 and claimed a freshman/sophomore match in two.

Newton handed Cumberland a loss in Little Illini Conference action Thursday 25-14, 25-12. Litzelman led the Eagles in kills with nine and blocks with two. Zerrusen had 13 assists. Koebele led in aces with two.
The Pirates were celebrating Senior Night. Cumberland was led by Jordan Plummer in digs with 11, Jade Hutchcraft with five kills and Lainey Jackson with seven assists. Cumberland is 4-21 overall and will be competing in the Little Okaw Valley Conference next season.
Newton also won the junior varsity match 25-21, 23-25, 25-21.

Patoka finished fourth in the Egyptian-Illini Conference Tournament Thursday at St. Elmo High School.
Ramsey opened the evening beating Mulberry Grove 25-23, 25-19. Patoka then won over Mulberry Grove 25-11, 25-16 and Ramsey 27-25, 25-18.
