The annual Pink Out Volleyfor a Cure Match will take place at Effingham St. Anthony High School's Enlow Center tonight. This annual event between the Effingham and St. Anthony volleyball teams will begin at 5:15 p.m. with freshman/sophomore, junior varsity and varsity matches.
The event raises money for cancer. T-shirt sales and admission money will go to Crossroads Cancer Center towards providing sandwiches for the patients and families while they are getting their chemotherapy. Some patinets are at the center for up to eight hours getting treatment. It also provides gas cards and help with transportation for those who need help getting to their therapy.
Design Unlimited helped with the T-shirts.
Everyone attending is asked to wear pink. The varsity volleyball match will be broadcast on 979 XFM beginning at approximately 7 p.m.
