OLNEY -- Jasper County continued to pick up victories in junior high volleyball action Monday evening.

Jasper County won the seventh-grade match over Olney, 25-13, 25-15 and improved to 11-5.

Jansen led in aces with four and assists with five. Hall had six kills. Ochs and Ginder led in digs with three each. Briscoe had one block.

In the eighth-grade match, Jasper County won 25-17, 25-9 and is 17-1 on the season.

Stanley led in aces with four and kills with three. Wagner led in assists with five and had three digs. Gentry and Meinhart also had three digs. Kuhl led in blocks with one.

Jasper County is back in action at Hutsonville today.

At Olney

Seventh-Grade Match

At Sigel

Teutopolis fell to Sigel St. Michael in both seventh- and eighth-grade matches Monday evening.

St. Michael won the seventh-grade contest, 26-24, 24-26, 25-20.

T-town dropped to 7-11 on the season.

In eighth-grade play, the Wooden Shoes lost to St. Michael, 25-19, 26-24 to fall to 15-5 on the season.

At Toledo

Cumberland played host to Altamont and claimed both the seventh- and eighth-grade victories Monday evening.

Cumberland won the seventh-grade match. Altamont claimed the opening set 25-21 but Cumberland came back with 25-15, 25-23 scores to improve to 10-12.

Mia Totten led in aces with seven and kills with four. Teegan Burrus had five assists, Addi Neu led in blocks with two and Kinze Polk led in digs with three.

In eighth-grade aciton, Cumberland won. Once again Altamont took the opening set 25-18 but Cumberland claimed the match 25-23, 25-11.

Kara Bauer led Altamont in aces with three, assists with seven and digs with six. Summer Martin had three kills. Adelita Ruffner led in blocks with one.

At Toledo
