Dieterich opened with a 25-22 win before Cumberland came back to take a 26-24 victory. The match then went to the Maroons 25-19 as they improved to 13-8 on the season.
Kinley Will led the winners in kills with 10 while Haezel Niemeyer added nine. Niemerg led in digs with 11 and had two aces. Marli Michl also had two aces. Ella Kreke led in assists with 30. Bailey Brummer had one blocked shot.
The Pirates were led by Suzy Fritts with nine assists, Alysa Dittamore with nine kills, Hannah Shoemaker and Dittamore with four blocked shots each, MacKenzie Claybaugh and Dittamore with one ace each and Leah Gray with 15 digs.
Cumberland won the junior varsity match, 14-25, 25-20, 15-6.

At Cowden
The South Central Cougars beat Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City in two sets Monday.
The Cougars won 28-26, 25-22 to even their record at 11-11. Jalynn Mitchell led in digs with 12 for the winners while Mya Schaal had seven kills and two blocks. Reagan Roberts had 15 assists and six digs. River Yingst also had six digs. Kyra Swift led in aces with three.
The Cougars are back in action Friday hosting Webber Township (Bluford) in a Walk With Walker Fundraiser night.
The Bobcats were led by Ellie Miller and Kyleigh Wallace with eight kills each. Wallace led in blocks with three. Gracie Wright had 10 asists and 11 digs. Birgen Schlanser led in digs with 13. Haley Doty had the lone ace of the match.
In the junior varsity contest, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City won 25-12, 25-13. South Central dropped to 5-5.
The freshman/sophomore match went to South Central, 25-19, 26-24 and the Coguars are now 5-1-2.

Maya Barker led the team in digs with seven, aces with two and points with eight. Presley Williams had five kills. Alivia Claycomb led in blocks with two.

Teutopolis came out a winner in all three contests against North Clay (Louisville) Monday.
The Wooden Shoes won the varsity match, 25-18, 23-25, 25-15 to improve to 13-8 on the season.
Claresa Ruholl led the Shoes in digs with 23 while Madison Miller had two blocked shots. Paige Swingler led in points with 10. Gabby Tegler had eight kills and two assists. Kaylie Jordan led in assists with 16.
North Clay drops to 15-9 in varsity play
The Wooden Shoes captured the junior varsity match, 25-20, 23-25, 25-11 and improved to 11-1 on the season.
In the freshman match, T-town was a winner, 25-13, 22-25, 15-11 and is now 13-4.

Windsor/Stewarsdon-Strasburg claimed a victory over Shelbyville Monday evening.
The Hatchets won 25-18, 25-14 to improve to 14-6 on the season.
"Tonight was more about friendship than it was volleyball," said WSS Coach Ronda Schlechte. "Shelbyville showed up wearing green uniforms with angel wings honoring teammates from both sides, Edie, Karly and Sienna. Rapid Fire has made these two teams family and the loss is felt deeply on both teams. We were able to have fun and play volleyball and enjoy the competition."
The Hatchets were led by Brinlie Durbin with six aces and 20 assists, Kinley Quast had 12 digs, Colby McCormick led in kills with eight. Ellie Wittenberg had one solo block and one block assist.
Shelbyville won the junior varsity match, 25-14, 25-22. WSS dropped to 7-6 on the season.
Windsor/Stew-Stras and Shelbyville split the frehsman/sophomore contests. WSS won 25-11 while Shelbyville won 25-16. WSS is now 4-5-5 on the season.
