Seventh-grade regionals continued Monday evening.
Class 1A Martinsville Regional
This regional was decided with two matches and the championship match.
Sigel St. Michael downed Newton St. Thomas but had to go three sets. The Sharpshooters won 25-19 but St. Thomas came back with a 25-22 victory. St. Michael then claimed the match 25-18.
Neoga was a winner in the second contest. Martinsville won the opener 25-15 but Neoga rallied for 29-27 and 25-13 wins.
The two teams then squared off and Neoga came out the champion in two sets over St. Michael, 25-15, 25-22.
Neoga will head to the Sigel St. Michael Sectional Monday and will meet either West Salem or Lovejoy. Those two teams meet for the championship of the Mulberry Grove Regional Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Class 2A St. Elmo/Brownstown Regional
South Central was the lone area winner Monday evening at the St. Elmo/Brownstown Regional.
South Central defeated Assumption Central A&M. Assumption won the opener 25-23 but South Central came back with 25-11, 25-4 scores for the victory.
In the second match, Ramsey downed Altamont, 25-9, 25-8
Nokomis then beat Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, 25-8, 25-17.
Tonight's matches will feature St. Elmo/Brownstown against South Central at 5:30 and Ramsey meeting Nokomis at 6:30.
Class 7-2A Oblong Regional
North Clay (Louisville) saw its season come to a close at the Oblong Regional Monday.
North Clay fell to Oblong, 25-19, 14-25, 25-23 and ends the season with a 14-8 record.
Edwards County (Albion) then defeated Casey-Westfield, 27-25, 26-24.
Oblong and Edwards County meet today at 4:30 for the regional championship.
Class 7-3A Robinson Nuttall Regional
One area team fell and one area team won at the Robinson Nuttall Regional Monday.
Jasper County lost the opening match of the evening to Lawrenceville Parkview, 25-9, 25-14.
Jasper County was led by Meinhart with four aces, Wagner with three assists and Gentry with four digs.
The team ends the season with an 18-4 record.
In the second match, Teutopolis won over Marshall, 25-23, 25-17.
Rose Brummer had one block and six kills for the Wooden Shoes while Lily Tegler had five aces and Bella Niebrugge had one block.
Teutopolis will now face Lawrenceville Parkview at 6 p.m. Thursday for the regional championship.
Class 7-3A Robinson Nuttall Regional
Jasper County -- Meinhart, 4 aces, 2 kills, 1 assist; Wagner, 1 ace, 2 kills, 3 assists, 1 dig; Kuhl, 2 kills; Thomann, 1 kill, 2 digs; Stanley, 2 assists; Gentry, 4 digs
Teutopolis -- Niebrugge, 1 block, 5 kills; Brummer, 1 block, 6 kills; Rholl, 5 kills; Tegler, 5 aces, 4 kills
Class 7-4A Rochester Regional
Tayllorville and Chatham Glenwood were winners at the Rochester Regional Monday.
Taylorville downed Mount Zion, 25-17, 25-21.
Chatham Glenwood won over Rochester, 27-25, 25-23.
Those two teams will meet Thursday at 6 p.m. for the regional title.
