NTC, EIC VB Tourney Pairings Released

In Pool A are Effingham St. Anthony, Dieterich and Neoga. In Pool B are Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, Altamont and St. Elmo/Brownstown and in Pool C are North Clay (Louisville), South Central and Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City.

The tourney opens Thursday at the Enlow Center with Pool A play only. Friday's action will be held at both the Enlow Center and Goff Gym. The tournament will come to a close Saturday at the Enlow Center with Bronze, Silver and Gold flight play.

Egyptian Illini Conference Tournament

The pairings were released for the Egyptian Illini Conference Tournament at St. Elmo High School.

Drawing the No. 1 seed was Ramsey followed by St. Elmo/Brownstown in second. Those two teams were regular season co-champions with 4-1 records.

The top two were followed by Mulberry Grove (3-2), Patoka/Odin (2-3), Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City (2-3) and Martinsville (0-5).

The tourney begins Monday, Oct. 16 with three matches and continues Tuesday with three more and finishes out Thursday with the finals.
