STRASBURG -- Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg and Teutopolis clashed in volleyball action Friday and the Hatchets came out the winners in two sets, 25-16, 25-17.

"As I've said before, it's always fun playing T-town," said WSS Coach Ronda Schlechte. "They make us think at the net more. Sometimes with the smaller teams, we 'forget' to see the block. T-town gives us the size we need to push us. They are good at keeping our defense on our toes also."

Ella Kinkelaar led the way for the Hatchets with two aces and 22 assists. Halle Moomaw finished with 11 kills and two block assists. Anna Albert had 10 digs. Samantha Hayes had two block assists.

"We played well tonight," said T-town Coach Jim Dietz. "We passed better than last night by a mile, but the run in the first set where we hit four in a row into the net, turned it from a close game to one where we had to take risks and it let Stew get aggressive. They're good, they've got Vonderheide and Moomaw, and that was that."
