The Altamont Lady Indians picked up their first National Trail Conference volleyball win of the season Tuesday 25-16, 25-23 over Neoga.

Windsor/Stew-Stras defeated Teutopolis Tuesday 25-22, 25-22. Windsor/Stew-Stras improved to 8-3 on the season, while Teutopolis is now 8-10. Hatchets Coach Ronda Schlechte said, "T-Town put up a good fight for us tonight. I'll take a good competition any day. We are still struggling to get back to playing like we did last Friday night at Crossroads. We are just not clicking as well as that night. It's still early, though." Teutopolis Coach Jim Dietz said, "We showed up tonight, played hard, and we had our chances and our students were loud and rowdy on 'Safety Orange Night'. We just couldn't score enough while Halle Moomaw was in the back row. The thing is, what makes her great is that she doesn't get phased. She's got a great killer instinct."
