"The championship was a tough match," said Coach Tammy Manhart. "I was proud of the girls for not giving up. We lost the first set but they just kept working hard and in the second set we found our rhythm and played much better.

"I have been hard on the girls lately trying to prepare them for post-season and after their performance in this tourney, I feel like they are ready. They worked well as a team and pushed through some tough moments.
