Leading the Shoes were Cecilia Donsbach with five aces, three digs and nine assists, Alicen Niemerg with three digs and five kills and Addi Meyer with one block.

In eighth-grade action, T-town won the opener 25-23 before Charleston took the second set, 25-19. The Shoes then won the match 25-8 and are now 7-3 on the season.
Leading T-town were Clara Mette with seven aces, Elise Pals with seven kills, Madison Probst with nine assists, Marie Zumbahlen with 20 digs and Gabby Tegeler with one block.
"We didn't really have our 'A' game tonight," said Coach Jim Dietz. "That happens sometimes. What I liked, though, was that we just kept grinding. There was no panic, no one was discouraged. People coming out didn't worry about playing time, they were cheering on the people who came in for them and that's a big positive. If you want to be good, you've got to take care of business on the tough nights."
