The Sharpshotoers won the seventh-grade match, 26-16, 25-13.
Stewardson-Strasburg was led by Jaelyn Howe with four digs, Edie Wittenberg with three kills and Jackie Vonderheide with three assists.
In the eighth-grade match, St. Michael was a winner, 25-14, 25-21.
Kendra Hayes had nine digs and six kills for Stew-Stras while Claire VonBehrens led in assists with six. Brooke Schumacher had one block and Jackie Vonderheide had three aces.
The Comets play host to South Central Thursday.
At Strasburg

At Neoga
Teutopolis handed Neoga two losses in action Tuesday.
The Wooden Shoes opened with a 25-18 loss to Neoga in the first set before taking the match, 25-19, 25-11.
Ella Willenborg led the Shoes in aces with six, had one block and led in kills with four. Cecilia Donsbach also had six aces and led in assists with four. Alicen Niemerg had nine digs.
"I liked that we passed really well and once we showed we had energy, then played even better," said T-town Coach Munoz. "Ella Willenborg was amazing with her defense tonight."
In eighth-grade play, T-town was a 25-10, 25-8 winner. Gabby Tegeler led in aces with eight and had one block. Marie Zumbahlen finished with 10 digs. Madison Probst led in assists with seven while Elise Pals had four kills.
"There's always such a difference between the first match of a season and the second," said Coach Dietz. "We did a nice job of defense tonight since Marie Zumbahlen had not played libero before. We had players being aggressive, playing hard."
