WSS, S. Central, Clay City Nab Friday Volleyball Wins

The Hatchets won the varsity match, 25-15, 25-12.
Leading Teutopolis were Kaitlyn Schumacher with three blocks, Summer Wall with eight digs, Tia Probst with five assists and Molly Pals with three kills. The Wooden Shoes are now 10-13 on the season.
T-town was a winner in the junior varsity match, 25-21, 10-25, 25-22. Windsor/Stew-Stras claimed the freshman/sophomore contest, 25-15, 25-12.
At Strasburg

At Louisville
North Clay (Louisville) nabbed both the junior varsity and varsity wins over St. Elmo/Brownstown Friday.
The Cardinals won a tough varsity match, taking the opener 26-24 before SEB came back with a 29-27 win. North Clay then went out at 25-23 to improve to 4-3 in the National Trail Conference, 16-6 overall.
SEB was led by Morgan Hall with 12 kills, two blocked shots and 14 points and Peyton Garrard with 18 assists, four aces and 16 digs.
North Clay was a winner in the junior varsity match, 17-25, 25-19, 15-8.
At Louisville

St. Elmo/Brownstown -- Baldrige, 7 kills, 1 assist, 2 aces, 19 digs, 1 blocked shot, 9 points; Carson, 1 assist, 7 digs; Garrard, 1 kill, 18 assists, 4 aces, 16 digs, 5 points; Hall, 12 kills, 1 assist, 2 aces, 8 digs, 2 blocked shots, 14 points; Nolan, 3 kills, 1 assist, 5 digs, 3 points; Sasse, 1 assist, 2 aces, 14 digs, 2 points; Smith, 4 kills, 3 aces, 10 digs, 1 point
At Farina
South Central tallied victories over Webber Township (Bluford) Friday.
The Cougars won the varsity match, 25-9, 25-19. Halle Smith had 13 kills and six aces for the winners while Olivia Brauer had 13 assists, Brooklyn Garrett five digs and Emma Jenne one block. The Cougars are now 15-4 on the season.
In the junior varsity contest, South Central won, 25-14, 25-21. The Cougars improved to 11-1.
At Clay City
Clay City tallied victories over Hutsonville/Palestine Friday.
The Wolves won the varsity match, 25-23, 25-13. Taylor Pittman had seven kills and five blocked shots for the winners. Hailey Miller served up four aces. Keidra Kuenstler and Elaina Kessler had six digs each. Sammie Craig had six blocked shots.
In the junior varsity match, Clay City was a winner, 25-23, 26-24.
