T-town, WSS, N. Clay, Clay City Take Volleyball Wins

The Wooden Shoes won the opener 25-16 but fell in the second set, 25-20. T-town then came back to win the match, 25-15.
Sara Swingler led T-town in digs with 12, points with nine and assists with 14. Jaden Deters had eight kills.
Greenville captured the junior varsity contest, 20-25, 25-20, 25-15. T-town was a winner in the freshman match, 26-24, 25-10.
At Teutopolis

At Strasburg
Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg improved to 4-0 in the National Trail Conference and 9-3 overall with a win over South Central Monday.
The Hatchets won in two sets, 25-12, 25-19. Kinley Quast led in aces with three and had 10 digs for the winners. Brianna Hewing had seven kills. Ella Kinkelaar led in assists with 20. Gabby Vonderheide also had 10 digs.
"I'm very happy with our blocking tonight," said WSS Coach Ronda Schlechte. "It was a high intensity game despite the score."
South Central was led by Halle Smith with six kills, Olivia Bauer with eight assists, Zada Reynolds with one ace and Brooklyn Garrett with seven digs. The Cougars fell to 3-2 in the conference, 9-4 overall.
In junior varsity play, South Central was a winner, 25-17, 25-18 to improve to 8-1. Windsor/Stew-Stras dropped to 8-2. In the freshman/sophomore contest, South Central also won 25-11, 25-15 and is 4-1-2. WSS is now 6-5-1.

North Clay (Louisville) played host to Dieterich and picked up a National Trail Conference victory Monday.
The Cardinals won 25-18, 25-21 to improve to 3-1 in the NTC, 11-3 overall.
Dieterich was led by Breanna Shull with two aces, Olivia Brummer with three kills and five digs and Alli Schmidt and Marli Michl with three assists each.
North Clay also nabbed the junior varsity contest, 25-19, 25-7 and is 3-2.
The Cardinals are back in action Wednesday at South Central in a 6:15 p.m. contest.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City fell to Moweaqua Central A&M in Monday varsity action.
Leading the Bobcats were Tatyana Duckwitz with four kills and seven digs, Madison Wojcik with seven assists and Kaycie Stefanski with four points.
Central A&M was a winner, 25-14, 25-9. CHBC dropped to 5-9 on the season.
In junior varsity play, Central A&M was a winner, 11-25, 25-19, 25-19 and also in freshman/sophomore play, 25-16, 25-15.
