NEOGA -- Effingham St. Anthony High School had a total of 18 kills in a 25-20, 25-20 National Trail Conference volleyball win over Neoga Tuesday.
Andrea Rudolphi, Ada Rozene and Lucy Fearday led the way with four kills each. Fearday had two aces while Rozene and Maddie Kibler had two blocks each. Abbi Hatton scored eight points. Anna Faber led in assists with 12.
The Bulldogs also won the junior varsity match, 25-21, 25-17. Neoga claimed the freshman/sophomore contest, 25-19, 25-9.

At Taylorville
Effingham fell to Taylorville in Apollo Conference action Tuesday.
The Tornadoes claimed the varsity match, 25-15, 25-11. EHS was led by Kennedy Sowell with four kills, Tori Budde with seven assists and six digs and Krista Phillips and Lexi Chrappa with an ace each.
The Hearts also fell in junior varsity play, 25-17, 21-25, 16-14 and freshman/sophomore competition, 21-14, 21-8.
EHS is back in action Monday at Teutopolis.

Teutopolis swept through all three matches against Sullivan Tuesday.
The Wooden Shoes nabbed the varsity match, 25-18, 19-25, 26-24.
Leading T-town in digs was Lilly Jansen with 19. Emily Konkel had four blocks and six kills. Sara Swingler led in points with eight. Summer Wall had 13 digs.
T-town won the junior varsity contest, 25-21, 25-15 and a freshman match, 25-17, 25-14.

South Central tallied varsity and junior varsity victories over Dieterich Tuesday.
The Cougars won the varsity match, 25-7, 25-13 and is now 3-0 in the National Trail Conference, 4-1 overall.
Halle Smith led in kills with five and digs with six. Zada Reynolds had nine assists. Brooklyn Garrett led in aces with four. Sierra Arnold had six digs. Emma Jenne led in blocks with two.
Dieterich was led by Breanna Shull with two kills and one block, Ella Kreke with eight digs and Emily Hall and Alli Schmidt with one assist each.
In the junior varsity match, South Central won 25-1, 25-16 and is 4-1.
The Cougars are back in action Thursday at Clay City.

Altamont was a winner over North Clay (Louisville) in varsity competition Tuesday.
The Indians won 25-12, 25-14. Ellie McManaway and Brinna Grunloh had four digs each. Peyton Osteen, Lanie Tedrick and McManaway had two aces each. Ada Tappendorf led in blocks with three. McManaway had 11 assists. Ella Ruffner had five kills.
Altamont claimed the junior varsity match, 25-21, 25-22.

Fairfield played host to Newton and claimed victories in junior varsity and varsity action Tuesday.
Fairfield won the varsity contest, 26-24, 25-20. Newton drops to 6-2 on the season.
Leading the Eagles were Johnson with seven kills, Schafer with 18 assists, Bennett with nine digs and Shull with one block. Bennett, Schafer and Russell had one ace each.

Farifield won the junior varsity match, 25-15, 19-25, 15-10. Newton claimed the freshman/sophomore contest, 25-19, 23-25, 15-13.

St. Elmo/Brownstown picked up a National Trail Conference victory over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Tuesday.
The Eagles won 25-12, 25-7. Laney Baldrige had six kills for the winners along with four aces and 10 points. Peyton Garrard had eight assists and five digs. Lillian Nolen also had five digs.
