The Hearts claimed the opener 27-25 but St. Anthony came back with 25-15, 25-23 counts for the match win.
Ada Rozene led the way for the Bulldogs with 11 kills, three aces, 10 points and one block while Lucy Fearday had one block. Anna Faber led in assists with 31.
The Hearts were led by Lexi Chrappa with eight kills and 13 digs while Tori Budde had 13 assists. Kennedy Sowell and Sidney Donaldson had two blocks. Mattie Angel, Megan Ballman and Budde had one ace each.
In the junior varsity match, St. Anthony also claimed the win, 25-19, 14-25, 15-13. The two teams split frosh/soph wins. St. Anthony took the opener 25-21 before the Hearts won 25-23.

Teutopolis took both the varsity and junior varsity wins over Marshall Tuesday.
The Wooden Shoes lost the opening set in varsity play, 25-15 but came back strong with 25-21, 25-17 scores for the win.
Emily Konkel had a good all-around match with two blocks, 16 digs, seven kills, two aces and two points. Sara Swingler had nine assists. Summer Wall had 12 digs and Macy Swingler 10. Taylor Bueker had five kills.
T-town improves to 6-2 on the season.

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg improved to 1-0 in the National Trail Conference, 2-0 overall with a victory over Dieterich Tuesday, 25-8, 25-11.
Halle Moomaw led the Hatchets in kills with seven while Gabby Vonderheide and Natalie Hayes had six each. Ella Kinkelaar led in assists with 15 and digs with four. Ainslie Eident also had four digs. Kinley Quast led in aces with two.
"We were able to play with a few different rotations tonight," said WSS Coach Ronda Schlechte. "The girls are adjusting well and having a good time."
In junior varsity play, WSS was a winner, 25-9, 25-12 and improved to 1-0 in the conference, 2-0 overall.

Newton tallied a varsity victory over Altamont Tuesday. The Eagles won 25-19, 25-19 to improve to 2-0 on the season.
Leading Newton were Ochs with four aces, Shull with six kills and one block and Schafer with 21 assists, six digs and one block.
Altamont was led by Ellie McManaway with nine assists and five kills, Ella Ruffner with four digs and five kills and Laren Walker with four digs, two aces and five kills.
In the junior varsity match, Altamont was a winner, 25-16, 25-21. Newton claimed the freshman/sophomore match, 25-5, 25-17.
