Stewardson Trinity captured an eighth-grade volleyball regional championship Friday.

Trinity downed St. Peter Lutheran Monday. St. Peter won the opener 25-23 but Trinity came back with 25-20, 15-8 counts for the win.

Altamont Lutheran then lost to Clay City Tuesday.

In the championship match Friday, Trinity was a winner over Clay City, 25-14, 25-13 and is now 8-1 on the season.
