The Mustangs claimed the seventh-grade match, 25-9, 25-12 to improve to 10-2 on the season.
Natalie Armstrong led in aces with 10 while Alyssa Martin and McKenzie Love led in kills with two each. Berkley Pullen had three assists.
In the eighth-grade match, Effingham was a 25-21, 25-6 winner and now stands at 8-3.
Hannah Thompson led in assists with 15. Bria Beals and Mya Harvey had five kills each. Layni Frey led in aces with five. Sidney Donaldson had five digs.

At St. Elmo
Steardson-Strasburg defeated St. Elmo/Brownstown twice Monday.
Stew-Stras claimed the seventh-grade match, 25-11, 25-19 to improve to 10-2.
Kendra Hayes, Kinley Chaney and Heavenlee Vonderheide had two digs each. Vonderhreide had seven aces. Hayes had three assists. Claire Holland had two kills.
The eighth-grade match went to Stew-Stras, 25-21, 25-5. Stew-Stras is now 12-0 on the season.
Samantha Hayes had five digs, seven assists, five kills and seven aces. Ellie Wittenberg had five kills.

At Pana
Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City traveled to Pana and fell in both matches Monday.
Pana claimed the seventh-grade match, 25-3, 25-5. Becca Macklin led in digs with two.
"Pana played a great game and our team didn't show up to play," said CHBC Coach Angela Jefferies. "Everyone is entitled to an off night and these girls did it together."
In the eighth-grade match, Pana was a 25-19, 25-8 winner.
Macee Rodman led in points with nine and assists with three for CHBC. Kyleigh Linder had three kills and four blocks. Addison Wasson had five digs.
"The eighth-graders started out strong and determined in the first game," said Jefferies. "They stopped playing as a team in game two and had communication issues."
At Pana
