Junior High Volleyball Results -- Feb. 11

The Mustangs tallied a 25-12, 25-20 victory in seventh-grade play. EJHS improved to 4-1 on the season.

In the eighth-grade match, Effingham was a 25-10 winner before Mattoon claimed the second set, 27-25. The Mustangs then captured the match, 25-11 to improve to 3-2.

At Sigel

Dieterich and Sigel St. Michael each claimed a victory Thursday.

Sigel St. Michael was a winner in seventh-grade action, 25-3, 25-5.

In the eighth-grade contest, Dieterich won, 25-23, 25-21.

At Atlamont

Stewardson-Strasburg came calling at Altamont and downed the homestanders in both matches.

Stew-Stras won the seventh-grade contest, 25-15, 25-15. Altamont dropped to 2-3 in the National Trail Conference, 2-5 overall.

Stew-Stras improved to 6-2 on the season.

In eighth-grade play, Altamont won the opener, 25-23 but Stew-Stras came back with 25-15, 25-15 counts for the match win. Altamont falls to 4-1 in the conference, 5-2 overall.

Stew-Stras remained unbeaten with a perfect 8-0 record.

The Wooden Shoes lost the seventh-grade contest, 25-18, 25-21 to fall to 2-4 on the season.

In eighth-grade action, T-town won the opener 25-22 but Taylorville took the next two sets, 25-10, 25-23 for the match. T-town fell to 2-4.
