The Mustangs lost the seventh-grade match, 25-21, 25-17 to drop to 2-1 on the season.

In eighth-grade play, Taylorville picked up a 25-19, 25-17 victory. Effingham is now 1-2.

Teutopolis downed Effingham St. Anthony in both seventh- and eighth-grade action Saturday.

The Wooden Shoes claimed the seventh-grade match, 25-16, 25-23 to improve to 2-2 on the season.

In the eighth-grade contest, the Wooden Shoes won 25-18, 25-23 and now sports a 2-2 record.

T-town will be back in action Tuiesday at Stewardson-Strasburg.
