Junior High Volleyball Results -- Jan. 30

TEUTOPOLIS -- Effingham split victories with Teutopolis in seventh and eighth grade volleyball Saturday while Charleston claimed two wins over the Wooden Shoes.

Effingham was a winner in seventh-grade play, 25-15, 25-12.

In the eighth-grade contest, the Mustangs won their opener 25-16 but T-town came back with a 25-21 victory. The Wooden Shoes then claimed the match with a 25-22 win.

Charleston won 25-21, 25-21 in seventh-grade play and took the eighth-grade match, 25-19, 25-21.

T-town is back in action Thursday, taking on Casey-Westfield beginning at 4:30 p.m.
