The Orphans won 25-15 before T-town claimed the second set, 25-22. Centralia then went out with a 25-12 victory.

Leading the Wooden Shoes were Emily Konkel with three blocks, Lexie Niebrugge with seven points and five digs. Ciara Roepke had five digs. Erica Michel led in kills with 13.

"We got swept tonight for the first time this season," said T-town Coach Tim Mills. "Most of the sets weren't close. I'm not sure if it was the long bus ride or the fact that it was the last match of the season for the freshmen and junior varsity teams, but we didn't play well in either match.

"The varsity got soaked pretty good in set one. Centralia is a very good team and they got up on us fast in set one and we never recovered. Set two was all us. We got up early and although they made a late push to make the score close, we dominated set two. Unfortunately we couldn't repeat it for set three. Like they did in set one, they got up on us early and we couldn't recover. After we got behind, we panicked and then we pressed. Of course that led to mistakes and Centralia seemed to take advantage of every mistake we made.

"On the bright side, we're getting healthy in time for the regionals so I like our chances next week."

Centralia claimed the junior varsity match, 25-14, 26-24 and the freshman contest, 25-20, 25-12.
