Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg had a good evening in volleyball competition. The Hatchets downed Lexington, 25-13, 25-23 to improve to 11-3 on the season.
"In set one we were on the top of our game," said WSS Coach Ronda Schlechte. "Everything flowed. The score doesn't reflect the fight Lexington put up. It was a very nice ball game.
"In set two, we had some serve receive errors along with miscommunication at times. Hitting errors were minimal so I'm pretty happy with that. Overall, very nice competition to give us a push and keep us on our toes."
Anna Schlechte led the winners in aces with two. Megan Schlechte led in kills with 14 and had 10 digs. Mackenzi Tabbert had 20 assists. Mackinzee Reynolds had four block assists.
