Windsor/Stew-Stras defeated Teutopolis 25-19, 25-20.
WSS improved to 7-3 with the victory, while Teutopolis is now 9-4.
Hatchets Coach Ronda Schlechte said, "We were a little flat tonight and just couldn't keep the consistency going. They played well enough to win, but still have a lot to work out. T-Town came out to win and they put up a nice fight."
Teutopolis Coach TIm Mills said, "It was a pretty good night to be a volleyball spectator. All the matches were very competitive. We managed to win at the freshman and junior varsity levels, but Windsor/Stew-Stras got the most important one. I could talk about the areas we struggled in or the areas we excelled at, but it really came down to two good teams playing hard and trying to find ways to score on and defend the other. There were plenty of booming spikes from both sides! There were also some big digs, too. I would prefer to be talking about a big win, but instead I'll just say we fought hard, played hard, but fell just a bit short."
