Seventh-grade volleyball regionals continued play Tuesday evening.
Class 7-1A Chrisman Scottland Regional
Stewardson-Strasburg fell in the championship match of the Chrisman Scottland Regional Tuesday.
Stew-Stras won the opener 25-22 but Hume Shiloh came back with 25-15, 25-16 tallies for the victory.
Class 7-1A Sigel St. Michael Regional
Sigel St. Michael and Grayville picked up victories.
West Salem won the opener over St. Michael, 25-18 but the Sharpshooters came back with 25-23, 25-15 victories for the match.
In the second contest, Grayville downed Effingham Sacred Heart, 25-13, 25-5.
St. Michael and Grayville meet for the regional title Thursday at 6 p.m.
Class 7-2A North Clay (Louisville) Regional
Effingham St. Anthony downed Oblong in the North Clay Regional Tuesday evening.
The Bullpups won the opener 25-23 but Oblong came back with a 25-22 count. St. Anthony then put the match under the win column with a 25-12 score.
In the second match, South Central downed North Clay, 25-9, 25-20.
St. Anthony will meet South Central at 5 p.m. Thursday for the championship.
Class 7-2A Findlay Okaw Valley Regional
Host Findlay Okaw Valley handed Altamont a loss in the opening match of the evening Tuesday.
Okaw Valley won 25-11, 25-12.
In the second contest, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City was a winner over St. Elmo/Brownstown, 25-18, 25-22.
CHBC will now face Findlay Okaw Valley at 6 p.m. Thursday for the regional title.
Class 7-4A Effingham Regional
Effingham picked up a victory over Mattoon in its own Class 4A Regional Tuesday.
The Mustangs won the opening match of the evening, 25-16. Mattoon came back with a 25-21 win. Effingham then claimed the match, 25-14.
In the second contest, Mount Zion downed Charleston, 17-25, 25-20, 25-21.
Effingham now meets Mount Zion at 4:30 p.m. Thursday for the regional championship.
Class 7-3A Shelbyivlle Moulton Regional
Shelbyville Moulton claimed the win over Arcola, 25-15, 25-18.
In the second contest, Arthur downed Tuscola East Prairie, 22-25, 25-16, 25-19.
Shelbyville Moulton and Arthur meet for the title Thursday at 6 p.m.
