LOUISVILLE -- Effingham Sacred Heart and North Clay (Louisville) split junior high volleyball victories Monday.
North Clay won the seventh-grade match, 25-20, 25-11.
In eighth-grade play, Sacred Heart won 25-10, 25-15. The Shamrocks also claimed an exhibition match, 25-19, 6-1.

At Charleston
Effingham picked up two victories over Charleston in action Monday.
The Mustangs downed Charleston, 25-19, 25-22 in seventh-grade play to improve to 14-1 on the season.
In the eighth-grade contest, Effingham was a 25-13, 25-17 winner.

Teutopolis fell in seventh-grade competition to Robinson Nuttall, 25-21, 25-16. The Shoes drop to 3-11 on the season.
In eighth-grade action, however, T-town was a winner. The Shoes took the opener 28-26 but fell in the second contest 25-17. T-town then claimed the victory, 26-24 and improves to 5-7.

Jasper County picked up an eighth-grade victory Monday. Jasper County beat Olney, 25-19, 25-14 to improve to 11-2 on the season.
In the seventh-grade match, Olney was a winner, 25-13, 25-12. Jasper County dropped to 4-10.
