Class 1A Sigel St. Michael Regional
Sigel St. Michael captured the championship of its own Class 7-1A Volleyball Regional Tuesday evening.
St. Michael handed Windsor a 25-11, 25-21 loss. St. Michael now advances to its own sectional March 6 to face the winner of the Grayville Regional, Grayville.
Grayville won its own regional Tuesday evening by beating West Salem 25-16, 25-9.
Class 2A Findlay Okaw Valley Regional
Hutsonville and Oblong advanced to the championship of the Findlay Okaw Valley Regional with victories Tuesday evening.
Hutsonville beat Oakland Lake Crest 25-13, 25-16. Oblong won over Paris Crestwood 25-15, 25-22.
Hutsonville will now meet Oblong Thursday for the championship at 6 p.m.
Class 7-3A Paris Mayo Regional
Jasper County and Robinson Nuttall moved into the championship match of the Paris Mayo Regional with victories Tuesday evening.
Jasper County downed host Paris Mayo 25-23, 13-25, 25-22.
In the second match, Robinson Nuttall won over Casey-Westfield 25-19, 25-27, 25-19.
Jasper County (11-11) now faces Robinson Nuttall at 6:30 p.m. Thursday for the regional championship.
Class 7-3A Paris Mayo Regional
Jasper County -- Ochs, 8 aces, 4 kills, 2 digs; Russell, 7 aces, 2 digs; Johnson, 1 ace, 1 kill, 1 dig; Kessler, 1 ace, 4 kills, 1 dig; White, 2 kills, 2 digs; Huddleston, 1 dig
Class 7-3A Shelbyville Moulton Regional
Cumberland picked up a victory over host Shelbyville Moulton in the opening match Tuesday, 25-12, 25-20.
In the second contest, Tuscola East Prairie defeated Teutopolis 25-15, 25-22. T-town finishes the season with a 14-8 record.
Cumberland will now meet Tuscola East Praiire Thursday at 6 p.m. for the regional championship.
Class 7-3A Shelbyville Moulton Regional
Teutopolis -- Jansen, 1 ace, 1 assist; Probst, 3 assists, 1 kill; Swingler, 1 ace, 4 digs; Deters, 4 kills, 2 blocks; Hardiek, 3 kills, 2 digs
Class 7-4A Mattoon Regional
Effingham moved into the championshp match of the Mattoon Regional with a hard-fought victory over Mattoon Tuesday.
Mattoon won the opener 25-17 but the Mustangs came back with 25-19, 25-14 counts for the win. Effingham improved to 18-4 on the season.
In the opening contest, Charleston downed Danville North Ridge in three sets, 25-14, 23-25, 25-10.
Effingham now meets Charleston Thursday at 4:30 p.m. for the regional championship.
Class 7-4A Mattoon Regional
