Effingham Sacred Heart defeated St. Elmo/Brownstown in junior high school volleyball competition Tuesday evening.
The Shamrocks won the seventh-grade match 25-17, 25-16. In eighth-grade action, Sacred Heart won 25-17, 25-21.
St. Elmo/Brownstown won the fifth-sixth grade match 25-17, 25-16.
