NTC Volleyball Tournament Set To Play Thursday, Friday, Saturday

The National Trail Conference Volleyball Tournament is scheduled to open play Thursday and will run Friday and finish out Saturday at Effingham St. Anthony's Enlow Center. Matches will be played at both the Enlow Center and Goff Gym

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg drew the No. 1 seed and will compete in Pool A along with No. 6 Dieterich and No. 7 St. Elmo/Brownstown. The No. 2 seed went to South Central. The Cougars will compete in Pool B along with No. 5 Altamont and No. 8 North Clay (Louisville). Neoga is the No. 3 seed and will compete in Pool C along with No. 4 Effingham St. Anthony and No. 9 Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City.

Two matches begin the tournament Thursday. South Central faces North Clay at 5 p.m. followed by Neoga against Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City at 6.

All games will be played best two out of three to 25 with no cap. There will be an All-Tournament team announced after the championship game Saturday.
