At Teutopolis
Teutopolis dropped its varsity match to visiting Centralia 25-16, 25-17 Monday. The Wooden Shoes fall to 12-9.
"We just really played poorly tonight," said T-town Coach Tim Mills. "Both the varsity and the JV had a negative hitting percentage. You won't win very often when you give more points on your attack than you earn. It started with our passing. We weren't finishing the pass so the ball was dying outside the 10 foot line. That pushed the setters into the backcourt. Pretty tough to run an offense from the backrow."
T-town also fell in the junior varsity contest 25-23, 25-15 to fall to 10-2.
