Effingham St. Anthony claimed a volleyball victory over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City in two, 25-18, 25-20 Tuesday evening.
Marci Mills led in kills with nine for the Bulldogs and digs with nine. Hannah Will had two block assists.
Felicie Johnson had four kills for CHBC while Skylar Morrison led in assists with eight. Kara Clearwater had three blocks. Sarah Kirchhofer led in digs with five.

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg improved to 7-3 on the season with a victory over Teutopolis, 25-12, 25-22.
"The girls didn't play too bad against their big net but still need some improvement," said WSS Coach Ronda Schlechte. "We were able to get some nice hits around them."
The Hatchets were led by Mackenzi Tabbert with nine kills and four aces. Carson Cole had six digs. Becca Schlechte led in assists with 21.
The Wooden Shoes were led by Carson Cole with six digs, Jessica Drees with five assists, Savannah Grimes with eight points, Leah Jansen with three kills and Macy Michels with five blocks. T-town drops to 7-4.
Teutopolis won the junior varsity match 25-15, 25-22 to improve to 4-2. WSS drops to 2-3. The Wooden Shoes also claimed a freshman/sophomore match 25-17, 25-13. WSS drops to 1-1.

Altamont pushed its National Trail Conference mark to 3-1 on the season and its overall record to 4-2 with a 25-13, 25-22 win over Neoga.
Mette tallied six kills for the Indians. Brewer had 16 digs. Barns and Simmons led in aces with four each. R. Kuhns had 10 assists.
Neoga won the junior varsity match 25-18, 25-18. Altamont fell to 3-6.

Aly Lane led the Maroons in aces with five while Madison Bannick had seven digs. Lauren Garbe led in kills with 11 and blocks with four. Madeline Aherin had 13 assists.
Dieterich fell in the junior varsity match 25-23, 10-25, 25-22.

The varsity squad now sports a perfect 12-0 record. Cohorst led in kills with eight. Hartrich had 18 assists. Bergbower and Cohorst led in digs with five each.
The Eagles also claimed the junior varsity match 25-20, 25-9. Charleston won the freshman contest 25-17, 25-12.
