ODIN -- Effingham St. Anthony High School defeated Odin in volleyball action Thursday evening, 25-6, 25-11.
Shea Kinkelaar led the Bulldogs in kills with seven. Meg Richards and Katie Kabbes had four aces each. Jenna Woltman and Taylor Dammerman had five digs each. Woltman led in assists with 21.

Dieterich High School handed Patoka a loss in volleyball competition Thursday evening.
The Movin' Maroons won the opener 25-18 but Patoka came back with a 25-14 win. Dieterich then went out at 25-14 to improve to 2-4 on the season.
Lauren Garbe had 10 aces, five kills and four blcoks. Madeline AHerin led in assists with 11. Sydney Vahling had nine digs.
Patoka won the junior varsity contest, 15-14, 15-25.

Teutopolis tallied a victory over St. Elmo/Brownstown 26-24, 25-16.
Jolene Bueker had 12 digs for the Shoes while Jessica Drees had nine assists. Savannah Grimes and Macy Michels had three aces each. Michels also led in kills with eight and points with five. T-town is now 6-3.
T-town nabbed the junior varsity match, 25-18, 25-16 to improve to 4-0.

Newton improved to 11-0 on the season with a 25-22, 26-24 victory over Edwards County (Albion).
Bergbower led the Eagles in kills with 11 and digs with eight. Hartrich had 21 assists.
Newton also nabbed the junior varsity match 25-20, 25-23.

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg picked up a National Trail Conference win over Altamont. The Hatchets won 25-16, 25-16.
"Altamont is a very good team to play before the Crossroads Classic," said WSS Coach Ronda Schlechte. "They have strong net play and can move on defense. We should have played a little more consistent but we had a lot of positives."
Megan Schlechte led in aces with three and kills with eight. Becca Schlechte had 20 assists and nine digs. WSS is 2-0 in the conference, 4-0 overall.
Altamont was led by Wharton in kills with four, Grimsley with 14 digs, Hoene with five assists and Jackman and H. Paquette with four blocks each. The Indians are 1-1 in the conference, 3-5 overall.
Altamont won the junior varsity match 25-19, 25-5 to improve to 2-0 in the conference, 3-1 overall.
Windsor/Stew-Stras beat Altamont 25-19, 25-20 in freshman/sophomore play.

South Central continued to roll along with a 25-22, 25-20 win over Clay City. The Cougars are now 7-2 on the season.
Abby Hahn led in points with seven. Kacie Crain had 10 digs. Emily Chapman had 10 assists. Kendall Burleyson led in aces with three. Hannah Rubin and Hahn had five digs each.
South Central won the junior varsity match 25-23, 25-11 to improve to 5-0.
