Dieterich Pack the Gym Pink Tonight

The Dieterich High School volleyball team invites everyone to attend its annual “Pack the Gym Pink” night Thursday, October 18 at 6:15 p.m. in the Dieterich High School gymnasium.

The Movn’ Maroons will be taking on the Altamont Indians in their annual “Dig for a Cure’ match. Many activities have been planned in order for the Dieterich volleyball team, students and community to help raise funds to support a local family battling cancer.

Tie-dye rubberband and silly-band bracelets are for sale at a cost of $1 each. There will be a gift basket raffle with over 30 baskets with a variety of themes. Raffle tickets are $1 each or six tickets for $5. The National Honor Society and Student Council will have a Bake Sale with all items sold on a donation basis.

The FFA Chapter will be selling porkburgers with chips for $3 starting at 4:30 p.m. in the high school gym lobby. The concession stand will be open to purchase drinks. The volleyball team will have a serving competition during the game where participants can win gift certificates by hitting pizza boxes with their volleyball serves.
