Neoga, Windsor Pick Up Wins; Area Roundup

PARIS -- Neoga High School handed Paris a non-conference volleyball loss Monday evening in two games, 25-18, 25-20.

Mallori Harshman led the Indians with two kills and 16 digs. Demmie Long had 17 assists, 10 digs and two kills. Neoga is now 13-20.

Windsor captured its 20th win on the season by downing Arthur-Lovington in non-conference play, 25-15, 25-22.

Erin Mowry and Jenny Bullock led the squad in kills with three each. Bullock led in digs with eight while Lindsay Floyd had five assists. The Blue Devils are now 20-10 on the season.

Teutopolis traveled to Cisne and dropped the match in two games, 25-19, 25-21. Katelyn Ruholl led the Wooden Shoes in aces with three and assists with six. Lucy Niemerg had five digs while Natalie Summers had three kills.

T-town claimed the junior varsity contest 25-18, 25-16. Cisne won a freshman/sophomore match 19-25, 25-15, 15-13.

Casey-Westfield came calling and handed host Stewardson-Strasburg a loss 25-18, 25-18 during Senior Night festivities. The Comets drop to 19-11.

"Tonight was Senior Night for Kelsie Walden and Mariah Tabbert," said Coach Ronda Schlechte. "We played tough at times and ran a good offense and then our passing hurt us. This has been a struggle all season and will be a main focus at practice this week to prepare for regionals next week."

Brittani Tabbert led the Comets in kills with eight and digs with 12. Kelsie Walden led in assists with eight.

Casey-Westfield took the junior varsity win, 25-20, 25-16. Stew-Stras drops to 1-14.

In junior varsity play, Noble was a winner 25-13, 25-21. Dieterich falls to 5-15.
