Junior High Volleyball Regionals -- March 8

SHELBYVILLE -- Teutopolis advanced in the Class 8-3A Volleyball Regional Tuesday evening.
The Shoes won the opener over Sullivan 25-22. Sullivan came back with a 25-15 count. T-town then claimed the match 25-5.
T-town improves to 9-11 and will face top-seeded Shelbyville Moulton tonight at 6 followed by Cumberland taking on Pana at 7.
Cumberland downed Pana in the second match Tuesday evening 25-12, 25-17.

Teutopolis -- Roepke, 2 kills, 1 dig; Brumleve, 2 aces, 2 digs; Bushur, 5 kills; Deters, 7 assists; Funneman, 3 aces, 3 kills; Heuerman, 1 dig; Kroeger, 2 aces; Mette, 4 aces, 2 assists, 1 kill; Michels, 4 aces, 1 assist, 4 kills, 2 digs, 1 block
Class 8-2A St. Elmo Regional
Edwards County (Albion) claimed the championship of the St. Elmo Regional.
Edwards County defeated Hutsonville 25-21, 25-22 and will now advance to the St. Elmo Sectional Monday, March 14 to face the winner of the Neoga Sectional, either Paris Crestwood or Findlay Okaw Valley.
Class 8-2A Neoga Regional
Paris Crestwood defeated Cowden-Herrick, 25-14, 25-17 in the first match Tuesday evening.
The second contest went to Findlay Okaw Valley over Neoga 25-23, 25-22.
Paris Crestwood and Findlay Okaw Valley meet Thursday for the regional championship at 6 p.m.
Class 8-3A Paris Mayo Regional
Marshall handed Jasper County a loss in three sets. Jasper County won the opener 25-23 but Marshall took the next two, 25-13, 26-24.
Paris Mayo was a winner over Casey-Westfield, 25-12, 25-12.
Marshall and Paris Mayo will now meet for the championship at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Class 4A Charleston Regional
Mattoon and host Charleston advanced in the Charleston Regional Tuesday evening.
Mattoon defeated Danville North Ridge 28-26, 25-11. Charleston was a 25-5, 25-13 winner over Danville South View.
Mattoon will now face Tolono Unity at 4:30 p.m. today while Effingham takes on Charleston at 5:30.
Class 1A Newton St. Thomas Regional
Grayville captured the championship of the Newton St. Thomas Regional by downing West Salem, 25-9, 25-11.
Grayville advances to the Sigel St. Michael Sectional against the winner of the Martinsville vs. Sigel St. Michael regional title game scheduled for Thursday.
