Junior High Volleyball -- Feb. 29

PANA -- Teutopolis Junior High School saw its season come to a close in the Class 7-3A Pana Volleyball Regional Monday evening.

Arthur won the opener 25-19 but T-town fought back to take the second set 25-16. Arthur then claimed the match 25-21.

T-town ends the season with an 8-12 record.

Shelbyville Moulton captured the second match over Sullivan 25-11, 25-14.

Shelbyville Moulton will now meet Arthur at 6 p.m. Thursday for the regional title.

Class 7-2A Paris Crestwood Regional

Paris Crestwood captured the championship of its own regional by downing Oakland Lake Crest, 25-18, 25-15.

Paris Crestwood advances to its own sectional where it will face the winner of the Edwards County (Albion) Regional, either Edwards County or Altamont who play Thursday for the championship.

Class 7-4A Effingham -- Effingham vs. Tolono Unity, 4:30 p.m.; Charleston vs. Mattoon, 5:45 p.m.
