Effingham picked up two victories over Effingham St. Anthony in junior high school volleyball competition Thursday evening.
The Mustangs won the seventh-grade match 25-12, 25-17. In the eighth-grade match, EJHS took 25-20, 25-7 wins over the Bullpups.

Altamont and Neoga split wins. Altamont claimed the seventh-grade match 25-18, 25-13 and improves to 1-1 in the National Trail Conference, 1-3 overall.
Neoga claimed the eighth-grade contest 25-13, 25-12. Altamont drops to 0-2 in the conference, 0-4 overall.

Stewardson-Strasburg captured the seventh-grade match over Teutopolis, 25-15, 25-15. T-town falls to 4-3 on the season.
In eighth-grade play, T-town lost the opener 25-21 but came back with 25-15, 27-25 counts to improve to 4-3 on the season.

Sigel St. Michael came calling and traveled home with two wins over Dieterich Thursday evening.
St. Michael won the seventh-grade match 25-6, 19-25, 25-3. Dieterich drops to 0-4.
In eighth-grade play, St. Michael lost the opener 27-25 but came back with 25-10, 25-15 wins. Dieterich falls to 1-5.
