Charleston came calling at Effingham St. Anthony in junior high school volleyball competition and picked up two wins over the Bullpups Tuesday.
Charleston won the seventh-grade match 25-8, 25-21. In eighth-grade play, Charleston was a 25-19, 25-10 winner.

Effingham Sacred Heart and St. Peter Lutheran split victories Tuesday.
St. Peter won the seventh-grade match 25-12, 25-16.
The Shamrocks then took the eighth-grade match 25-20, 20-25, 15-12.

Stew-Stras claimed the seventh-grade match 25-13, 25-16. Altamont drops to 0-1 in the National Trail Conference, 0-3 overall.
In eighth-grade play, Stew-Stras downed Altamont 25-22, 25-22. Altamont falls to 0-1 in the NTC, 0-3 overall.

Jasper County won the seventh-grade encounter but had to go three sets. Oblong won the opener 25-16 but Jasper County came back with 25-14, 25-13 counts.
